In the Abu Dhabi Big Ticket Draw, an Indian expat gets Dh1 million.
Veqar Jafri, an Indian ex-pat, won Dh1 million in the weekly computer draw for Abu Dhabi Big Ticket. This makes him the first millionaire of 2022.
Jafri is very happy because he has had a great start to the new year. He lives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
After getting the call from Big Ticket host Bouchra, Jafri said, “Big Ticket has changed many lives over the years, and today they have changed mine.”
Jafri told us that he thought he would win in December. So, during the first week of December, he bought Big Tickets with one eye on the electronic weekly millionaire draw and the other on the Dh25 Million grand price on January 3.
When he didn’t win the weekly drawing, he bought two more tickets on December 24 to try again. This time, luck was on his side, and he won Dh1 million in today’s computer draw.
“My favourite thing about Big Ticket is that they are honest. He said, “They change the winners’ lives and the lives of everyone who is close to them.”
On Monday, all four people who won the weekly draw in December will have a chance to win Dh25 million.

An Indian Couple Who Just Had Twins Won Dh1 Million.
A couple from India won Dh1 million in the Big Ticket draw only two days after their twins were born.
Sharjah-based Bijesh Bose, who just had a baby, is having a great December. When Bose left the hospital to get lunch on Friday, where his wife had just given birth to twins, he had no idea that he would come back a millionaire.
“My wife just had twins two days ago, and today I won Dh1 million with Big Ticket. “I think my two new babies have brought me extra luck, and that’s why I won today,”
Bose said when Big Ticket host Bouchra called him to tell him he had won the weekly Dh1 million electronic draw.
When asked how he would spend his price money, Bose said,
“I haven’t decided yet. First, I have to split the money among the friends and coworkers who went with me on this trip. After the excitement dies down, I’ll start thinking about how to put the money to good use.”
Residents can buy tickets until the end of the month for a chance to win Dh1 million at the computer draw on January 1 and Dh25 million, Dh2 million, or four other cash prizes on January 3.
